Prince William and Kate Middleton Find Happiness in Humble Adelaide Cottage, Opt Out of Windsor Castle Residence

In a surprising move, Prince William and Kate Middleton have declined an offer to reside in the luxurious Windsor Castle, opting instead to remain in their modest Adelaide Cottage. According to royal correspondent Camilla Tominey, the couple is content with their current living arrangements and have no desire to relocate to the Castle.

“The Waleses don’t want to move into Windsor Castle because they’re actually quite happy in Adelaide Cottage, which, by comparison, is modest accommodation,” Tominey explained.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge moved into their new home on the Windsor Estate in the latter half of 2022, accompanied by their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. While the decision to forego the grandeur of Windsor Castle may come as a surprise to some, it’s admirable to see the royal couple prioritize their happiness and the comfort of their family over opulent living.
